Field Calibration/Metrology Technician for West Texas Region

We need a Field Calibration/Metrology Technician in our North Texas Region. Two (2) years experience in calibration required. Onsite calibration performed for accredited ISO and 17025 companies. Candidate must show a propensity to be self managed, organized, computer literate and proficient at instrument calibration/certification. Some travel required. Drug free workplace.

Field Calibration Technician specializing in weighing equipment

Experienced Field Calibration Technician needed for a Calibration company based in Texas. Experience in dimensional, electrical, temperature, pressure, torque required. PMEL experience a plus.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the quality and timely calibrations of equipment on-site. Communication with customers throughout the calibration process. Some travel required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Test/Calibrate/Certify test equipment/standards as required.
  • Perform calibration and qualification testing in within a 17025 accredited quality system.
  • Complete any other duties assigned by Metrology/QC management as required.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Requires knowledge of principles, procedures, methods and techniques in metrology gained through education, professional experience or military service.
